Cedric Chehab is the Managing Director of Country Risk at BMI where he helps ensure the coherence of global macro and country risk strategy. Currently based in Singapore, Cedric previously served as Head of Asia Research, where he was responsible for all Asia-based country risk analysis and industry research. Before that he was Head of Americas Research, based in New York. From 2008 to 2010, Cedric worked in London as Head of Commodities Research and Strategy. He has also worked in management consulting at Accenture. Sabrin leads BMI’s Commodities Analysis, driving price forecasting and thought leadership across the energy, industrial and precious metals, soft commodities and grains subclasses. Incorporating fundamental, technical, macro and financial analysis of markets in BMI’s commodity strategy, Sabrin manages a team that covers 24 commodities.
Sabrin joined Fitch Solutions in 2015 and regularly engages with clients hailing from banks, asset management firms, consultancies, government agencies and corporations.

Prior to UBS, she was Vice President, Head of Grassroots Research at Allianz Dresdner Asset Management (now known as Allianz Global Investors).
Jean graduated with an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from University of Oxford, UK. She is currently on the Development Advisory Board of St Hilda’s College, University of Oxford.

Adam joined CreditSights in 2018 and leads a team of sales professionals responsible for new and organic growth throughout Asia Pacific, including Japan, Greater China and ANZ.
Currently based in Singapore, he has over 20 years’ experience in sales and market development covering North America and & Asia Pacific.

Pramod Shenoi joined CreditSights in December 2019 to Head Asia Pacific research for Financial Institutions. He is currently the Co-Head of Research for Asia Pacific, as well as the President of CreditSights Singapore LLC.
Prior to joining CreditSights, Pramod spent 17 years in Debt Capital Markets covering Financial Institutions clients in Asia and Europe, with Lehman Brothers, Nomura, Standard Chartered and Mizuho.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from St.Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Erin Lyons leverages her 23 years of experience in the credit markets, where she has been an analyst, strategist, and portfolio manager on the buy side and sell side, to drive CreditSights’ product, client, and commercial strategy. She joined the firm a decade ago as an analyst covering the technology sector, served as the Investment Grade Credit Strategist, and most recently held the title of Global Head of Business Strategy for CreditSights.
Erin earned a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She serves as President of the Board of the Fixed Income Analyst Society (FIASI), as a mentor for Girls Who Invest and American Corporate Partners, and guest lectures on fixed income markets at Boston College, Columbia University, and Cornell University.
Su Shan is the Deputy CEO and Group Head of Institutional Banking at DBS. DBS is the largest bank in Southeast Asia with a market capitalisation of S$100 billion (May 2024). She also serves as the President Commissioner for PT Bank DBS Indonesia. Prior to leading the institutional banking business, she was Group Head of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management for close to a decade.
Before joining DBS, Su Shan was Morgan Stanley’s Head of Private Wealth Management for Southeast Asia. She has also worked at Citibank and prior to that at ING Barings in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Su Shan sits on the advisory board of Dyson’s family office, Weybourne Holdings, and is a board member of Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust. She previously served as a Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore from 2012 to 2014.
In October 2014, Su Shan became the first Singaporean to be recognised as the world’s “Best Leader in Private Banking” by PWM/The Banker, a wealth publication by the Financial Times Group. Rachel is Chief Commercial Officer for Fitch Solutions. She has 20 years of commercial experience in financial information services. She joins Fitch from the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) where she was Regional Head of Sales, Americas. Prior to that, she led the LSEG Market Development Team, overseeing the design and delivery of the go-to-market strategy for commercial functions. She has extensive knowledge of a variety of customer segments having worked with the Buy Side, Sell Side, Corporate, Academic and Government.
Nneka Chike-Obi is Senior Director, APAC Head of ESG Ratings and Research at Sustainable Fitch, overseeing bond, framework and entity-level evaluations (Ratings) and cross-sector thematic analysis (Research) for the region.
Before joining Fitch in 2020, Nneka worked in emerging markets’ impact investing and private equity at Acorus Capital in Hong Kong and AgDevCo in London, focusing on the natural resources and industrial sectors in sub-Saharan Africa. She previously worked as a commodities analyst at ICAP and Barclays Capital.
Nneka has an M.Sc. from The London School of Economics and a B.A. from Stanford University.
In February 2024, Nneka was appointed member of the International Capital Market Association’s (ICMA’s) 2023-2024 Advisory Council of the Principles Executive Committee.
Kalai Pillay is a Managing Director in the Asia-Pacific corporates group. He oversees industrials, consumer products, property, and transportation ratings for North Asia.
Prior to joining Fitch in 2005, Kalai was vice president in the credit portfolio management unit of ABN AMRO Bank in Singapore, where he was responsible for analyzing credits of the bank’s largest corporate clients in Asia. Previously, he was engagement manager in the corporate finance and strategy practice of management consultants, McKinsey & Company, based in Hong Kong and Singapore, having an Asia-wide coverage. Kalai began his career in financial services in Rating Agency
Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, where he was the lead analyst for several large Malaysian conglomerates. He has worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, and the United States.
Kalai graduated summa cum laude with a BA in economics and anthropology from Brandeis University, Massachusetts. He also holds an MBA in finance and accounting from New York University.
Ng Sing Chan is a Managing Director at Fitch Ratings in Singapore where he is Head of Asia-Pacific (APAC) Business Origination and Country Head of Singapore.
Sing Chan oversees the development of Fitch's rapidly growing international ratings business in the APAC region, including China, India, Japan and Australia. Until his appointment, Mr. Ng was responsible for growing and promoting the agency's business and relationships with financial institutions and sovereign issuers in the APAC region.
Prior to joining Fitch in 2005, Mr. Ng was the head of sales for ASEAN and the Indian sub-continent at Standard & Poor's for products such as indexes, fundamental data and equity research. He also held overseas positions in Thailand as the country manager for Bridge Information Systems, a real-time market data vendor, as well as the country sales manager in Vietnam for Dow Jones Markets.
He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the National University of Singapore.
Ross D. Schaap, PhD, Head of Research, manages GeoQuant’s Political Risk data generation process and oversees product development with direct applications in financial, corporate, and public risk management processes. He holds a PhD in Political Science from UCLA and an MA in Asian Studies (Japanese) from the University of Hawaii. Prior to GeoQuant, Ross spent nearly a dozen years at Eurasia Group as Director of the Comparative Analytics practice group. He has also served as a research fellow in Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, an adjunct professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and as a visiting professor at the University of California, Davis. Ross has written articles on political economy, financial regulatory reform, and Japanese domestic politics in publications such as International Organization and the Harvard Business Review, presented papers at numerous professional conferences, and appeared in the media on networks including Al-Jazeera, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, and CNN International.
Logan is the Head of European Strategy at CreditSights. Prior to joining in 2023, Logan was a Director and Senior Credit Strategist at Wells Fargo Securities, where he developed and marketed the firm’s published views on global investment grade and leveraged finance credit markets, provided institutional clients with in-depth market research and investment recommendations, and advised internal credit desks on executable trading opportunities. Logan brings more than a decade of experience in fixed income strategy and research and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech.
Aurelia works as a Senior Director in the ESG Research team for Sustainable Fitch, and is based in Singapore. She heads up the climate research team, focusing on climate and transition risks for investors, corporates and financial institutions.
Prior to this role, Aurelia led Fitch Solutions Industry Research’ commodities fundamental analysis and price strategy, covering Mining & Metals and Agribusiness. Aurelia joined Fitch in 2012. She has also worked in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and France, carrying out macroeconomic research and strategic analysis for the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, Bretagne International, and for the Beijing-based sustainability consultancy SynTao.
Aurelia holds a Master’s Degree in International Economics and Political Sciences from Sciences Po Bordeaux, France.
Dr. Randeep Gug is the Managing Director of the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) and the CQF Institute. Prior to joining Fitch Learning, Randeep worked in a variety of roles. He spent five years working in the Equities division at Salomon Smith Barney and later traded futures and options on the Indian National Stock Exchange (NSE). More recently he has spent time teaching mathematics at all levels. He is a qualified teacher, holds a 1st class honours degree and a PhD for research in semiconductor physics. He is a CQF Alumnus, achieving a distinction on the program and his current interests are based around improving and promoting the teaching and learning of quant finance.
